Pol Sierra

Pol grew up in Barcelona but moved to Germany a few years ago. Originally working in a big company but driven by the climate and biodiversity crisis he decided to become an active part of the solution.

After seeing some examples of the evolution and benefits of Miyawaki forests in other countries, he decided to embrace this methodology as his personal contribution too and started his journey to become a Forest Maker in 2021 together with SUGi.

Collaboration with other like-minded people and adaptation to local conditions and regulations have been key for the success of the projects so far, especially in highly dense and industrialised places like Western Germany, where he lives.
