The Games Forest Club brings technological innovation forward in service to biodiversity and humanity. Each time a member of the club choses SUGi as a planting partner, a real life donation is made to SUGi. This helps further our mission to allow anyone anywhere to be a biodiversity builder. And it helps tell the story of our forests and their impact through the dynamic visual and narrative platform gamesforest.club.
Community Forest II — Uttarakhand India
Located in Village Satoli, Uttarakhand, North India, these common lands are an integral part of rural mountain life and a major source of fuel and fodder for these communities.
By reviving these degraded rural commons, we can add real value to the region by securing basic livelihoods of local people and reviving native biodiversity.
“We founded our non-profit GamesForest.Club to summon the incredible energies of the games industry and its players to help restore the web of life on our planet. Together with our members we find fun ways to support reforestation. By designing the 3D GamesForest, we illustrate the impact of building biodiversity in a playful way.“
